The two classic drinks for your brunch
While many of us tend to have hectic summer schedules, it is important to gather family and friends for good times of celebration. The great thing is entertaining can be relatively carefree and inexpensive if you plan a casual brunch.
Brunch is generally served between the traditional hours for breakfast and lunch, a convenient time that leaves the evening free for you and your guests.
While there are many food options for you to serve at brunch the most important thing is your beverages. Because all brunches are not a good time without good drinks. Here are the recipes for the two classic brunch drinks: Mimosas and Bloody Marys.
In a champagne flute, combine 1/3 cup chilled sparkling wine, 1/3 cup chilled orange juice and 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier or triple sec.
A Bloody Mary is a cocktail containing vodka, tomato juice, and combinations of other spices and flavorings including Worcestershire sauce, hot sauces, garlic, herbs, horseradish, celery, olives, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, lime juice and/or celery salt.
Remember brunch is all about celebrating good times with great people and ofcourse amazing drinks!
